In my many years helping admins navigate their way out of a support role, I've experienced plenty of well-meaning people who gave admins the absolute wrong advice.  I've developed a proven system that's worked time and time again.  I know what works.

As a former admin myself, I believe in your potential.  Sitting in my admin seat, I knew I had a different contribution to make.  Sometimes we just need someone who sees what we're capable of and is willing to encourage and advise.  I'm that person.
